At Hometown Outreach, one of our biggest goals has always been to make it easy for neighbors to ask for help. We know that reaching out can feel overwhelming, especially when transportation, technology, or life circumstances make things harder than they should be. That’s why we’re so excited to share what’s coming next: the Hometown Outreach App—a simple, friendly way for families, seniors, and individuals to connect with our Outreachers when they need support.
This new tool will allow neighbors to request deliveries and additional assistance with just a few quick taps. It can be easily downloaded to any mobile device or accessed via our website. Register once, recertify every 3 months, and just a quick tap to sign up for deliveries.
Volunteers will also benefit from the app, receiving alerts when new opportunities arise, seeing updates in real time, and choosing tasks that fit their schedule. It will strengthen our network, streamline communication, and help us respond faster across Madison County.
We’re currently finalizing the last few pieces, and we cannot wait to roll it out to our community. The heart behind this new system is simple: to make it easier for neighbors to get connected to care, compassion, and consistent support.
Stay tuned for updates, launch dates, and ways to get involved. Hope is on the way—right at your fingertips.
