Florida Vocational Rehabilitation
People with a physical or mental health condition that makes working difficult may be able to receive career counseling, job training, assistive technology, job-placement help, or other employment support.

Apalachee Center
Outpatient mental-health care includes therapy, peer support, medication management, psychiatric care, and recovery support. New clients can begin through Same-Day Access in person or by video call.

Madison Medical Center
North Florida Medical provides primary medical care for adults and children at 469 West Base Street. It accepts Medicare and Medicaid and offers a sliding-fee discount program for eligible patients.

Madison Lions Club Vision Help
The Madison Lions Club helps local residents who have difficulty paying for eye exams, eyeglasses, and other vision care.

Services for Older Adults
Madison Senior Citizens Center
The center offers meals, activities, transportation, caregiver and in-home support, and connections to other programs for older Madison County residents.

Second Harvest Senior Food Boxes
Second Harvest of the Big Bend provides monthly groceries through its Senior Grocery Program. Adults age 60 or older can enroll at a participating distribution site; Madison County’s listed site is Faith Baptist Church.

Home-Delivered Meals
The Senior Citizens Council provides home-delivered meals for eligible homebound residents. Eligibility is based on an assessment and state aging-program guidelines.
