Choose the Right Next Step

The way you request help depends on what you need. Start with the option below that fits you best.

Need a Pantry Delivery?

Pantry delivery registration opens weekly through an event posted on our Facebook page. Open the newest registration event, review the details, and follow the event instructions to register for that week.

Registration and delivery availability may vary from week to week. Following our Facebook page is the best way to see when a new event is posted.

Need Help With Something Else?

For healthcare access, navigating services or resources, companion calls, or another barrier, complete our general Help Request Form. Tell us what is getting in the way and how we can reach you. An Outreacher will follow up to listen, ask a few questions, and explore possible next steps.

Please do not include detailed medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other highly sensitive documents. Prefer to talk? Call (850) 738-3113.

How We Can Help

Pantry Deliveries

Our most-used service provides groceries and household essentials free to neighbors who cannot access local food assistance on their own. Registration is posted weekly as an event on our Facebook page, and neighbors must follow that week’s event instructions to sign up.

Healthcare Help

We help neighbors work through barriers to healthcare access. This may include finding providers or transportation options, preparing for or understanding appointment steps, accessing telehealth, coordinating pharmacy needs, or connecting with programs that may help. We do not provide medical care or medical advice.

Local programs can be difficult to find and navigate. We can help identify possible resources, explain eligibility or application steps, gather publicly available information, make referrals, and support follow-through when transportation, technology, paperwork, or other barriers make the process difficult.

Companion Calls

Friendly, scheduled calls offer conversation and connection for neighbors who feel isolated or would benefit from regular check-ins. Companion calls are social support—not emergency monitoring, home healthcare, or crisis counseling.

Facing Another Barrier?

Contact us. We’ll talk through what’s getting in the way and see how we may be able to help.

How It Works

1. Tell Us What You Need

For pantry deliveries, use the current weekly Facebook event. For all other needs, use the general Help Request Form or call us. Share only what you’re comfortable sharing.

2. We Listen

An Outreacher will follow up to understand the barriers you’re facing.

3. We Find a Next Step

Together, we’ll identify a realistic next step based on your needs, volunteer availability, service boundaries, and local resources.

A Few Things to Know

  • Services depend on volunteer availability and the local resources available at the time of your request.
  • We cannot promise assistance or an immediate response, but we will listen and explore possible next steps with you.
  • Hometown Outreach is not an emergency service.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health or suicide crisis, call or text 988.
