ABOUT HOMETOWN OUTREACH
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
We bring practical help, trusted connections, and human kindness to neighbors across Madison County, Florida.
WE WORK TOGETHER
A community with a giving heart
Hometown Outreach began in January 2024 with a simple belief: when a neighbor cannot reach the help they need, our community can help close the gap.
What started with getting food to households without reliable transportation grew into a volunteer-powered network of practical support, trusted connections, and compassionate care. Our volunteers—our Outreachers—meet people where they are and help them take a realistic next step.

Why We Exist
In a rural community, limited transportation, hard-to-find services, and unexpected hardship can leave people without practical ways to meet essential needs. We help neighbors find and reach the support that already exists—and step in with direct assistance when we can.
Access First
We help address transportation, availability, technology, and service-navigation challenges that can keep neighbors from receiving support.
Dignity Always
We listen without judgment, respect privacy and choice, and offer support that helps people move forward on their own terms.
Stronger Together
We work with churches, businesses, agencies, and community members so local efforts reinforce one another instead of working alone.
Our Leadership
Hometown Outreach is guided by a volunteer board rooted in the community we serve.
